Karl and I have been having fun doing a Family Home Evening on Monday nights. Last night was Karl's turn and to start, he picked a primary song for us to sing. He picked Give Said the Little Stream, but before we sang, he prefaced our singing with a story. When Karl was little, he thought the words were 'Give said the Little string'. He said he could imagine a little string dancing down a hill. Karl was a really adorable, loud, little boy. I can totally imagine him sitting in a primary class belting 'give said the little string'. I laughed through the whole song! (of course we sang Karl's version). It never ceases to surprise me how much I think I know Karl, but there is so much I am still learning about him every day. We are having a grand time on our eternal adventure:)

I am an Auntie for the first time!!!
I think I am ok to post this now that Talon and Nicole have. My little niece Adalyn Julene came just a week ago, which is a lot earlier than her due date which was in April. She was pretty sick when she was first born and still has a ways to go, but according to her happy parents and grandparents, she is getting stronger everyday.
My niece is a fighter!
I can't wait to meet her in person! Hopefully my little niece will help me not be so scared of new born babies. Not that I find them scary. they are just so little and look so fragile that I'm afraid I might hold them wrong and hurt them or something. I always have to hold a baby sitting in the same spot, without moving until someone else comes to claim their turn.
Well, hopefully I can get some practice holding my niece before she moves to Missouri.
Anyways, life is good.
I hope all of you are having a splendid day!
(despite the snow that dumped all over the semi-spring atmosphere)
