Pilgrims of course!
There are all kinds of exciting things happening in the Beckert casa as of late. We're finding answers to big decisions and are grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who is guiding us while we make every single one. It's incredible to me that someone as insignificant and small in the eternal scope of things like I am can feel so much love from her Father in Heaven. That even things I worry about that probably don't have that much to do with my eternal salvation, matter to Heavenly Father simply because I matter to him.
I've decided not to apply for graduate school this year. It's been so hard trying to decide what to do, but in the end I just feel like I'm being pulled in a different direction than I always thought I'd go. It's still hard to imagine myself doing something different than I always thought I would, but listening to the spirit is a powerful thing that I trust will bring a lot of happiness. This turkey season, I'm grateful for sweet, simple answers to prayer. They bring me more courage and confidence than I could muster up on my own. I am eternally grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
This turkey season I'm trying to think of all the little blessings that bring me joy. I love seeing all the little things add up into a big long list. So here are just a few little things I'm thankful for:
1)Blankets in this cold Logan weather
2) Pictures of my cute niece that always make me smile (Addie is just so darn cute Nicole and Talon!)
3) Crunching leaves on the way home from school
4) Getting emails from my bro. Oldungur Anderson and finding jokes to send him every week like the one above:)
5) Laughing when I stumble upon little gems like this picture below
